Warehouse Technician

Job Summary
Purpose
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for organizing and maintaining the warehouse, performs receiving activities, and pull, pack, and load finished goods orders for daily shipping.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
- Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received
- Inspect shipments for damage, loss, or defects, and notify management of findings
- Responsible for accurately receiving, reporting, and distributing purchased items
- Stock shelves in the warehouse
- Troubleshoot and resolve incoming material issues
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
- Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment and safe employee work habits
- Maintains general housekeeping and security of the warehouse and general working area
- Pull inventory for all production batch records and/or Material Request Forms
- Perform stock picking and packing of finished good for shipping
- Support all company-wide shipping requirements
- Perform all prep-activities associated with daily Cold Chain Shipping
- Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Supply Chain quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions
- Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods through inventory control processes
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Frequently work for short durations in a walk-in refrigerator and walk-in freezer
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business/operational needs when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution
- At least 1-2 years warehouse/inventory control experience in Biotech, pharma or medical device facility, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Quality Systems experience: cGMP experience preferred
- Experience working with QAD or equivalent ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Valid Driver\'s License
- Forklift Certification preferred and/or ability to obtain
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required
