Job Summary

Purpose

The Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) is responsible for defining and executing an enterprise IT strategy that advances the organization’s business objectives, enhances operational efficiencies, and ensures long-term scalability. The VP leads strategic initiatives in technology investments, cybersecurity governance, and digital transformation, driving innovation while aligning IT capabilities with the company’s vision.


This role plays a key part in shaping the future of technology at Tiger BioSciences, ensuring that IT systems, policies, and initiatives support sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, and competitive advantage. The VP will provide executive leadership in technology-driven business decisions, managing high-level IT partnerships, optimizing technology investments, and positioning IT as a key enabler of the company’s success.

 

Responsibilities

· Develop and lead an enterprise IT strategy that enhances efficiency, innovation, and business growth

· Oversee IT governance, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management

· Evaluate and drive enterprise-wide technology investments, prioritizing initiatives that improve agility and competitive positioning

·  Shape the organization’s cybersecurity and data privacy framework, implementing policies to protect information assets and mitigate risk

· Lead digital transformation initiatives that leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics

· Establish strategic vendor and technology partnerships to optimize IT service delivery and innovation

· Advise executive leadership on technology trends and their impact on business operations, ensuring alignment between IT and corporate objectives

· Oversee IT financial planning, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities

· Monitor industry trends and assess their implications on enterprise technology strategy

· Represent the company at industry forums and executive leadership meetings to position Tiger BioSciences as a leader in technology-driven innovation

· Ensure business continuity planning, IT compliance, and risk management frameworks are effectively implemented

· Travel domestically up to 25% for business meetings, conferences, project oversight, and strategic collaboration

· Ensure enterprise-wide adherence to FDA CFRs, AATB standards, and internal IT compliance policies

· Other duties as assigned            

 

Skills

· Visionary leadership with a strong ability to drive IT strategy and innovation

· Expertise in IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance

· Deep understanding of digital transformation, cloud computing, and emerging technologies

· Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale IT budgets and investments

· Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills

· Proven ability to develop high-level partnerships and manage enterprise IT initiatives

· Ability to anticipate and adapt to changing technology landscapes and business needs

 

Qualifications/Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field from an accredited college or university; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree

· At least 12 or more years of experience in information technology with at least 7 years in an executive or senior leadership role

· At least 5 or more years of experience leading enterprise-wide IT strategy and operations

· Experience implementing and managing cybersecurity and compliance programs
