The Operations Strategist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our consignment operations, ensuring efficient onboarding processes, and maintaining positive relationships with consignment partners.


Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze consignment operations to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency
  • Identify overdue accounts with excess inventory over 45/100 days or outstanding payments of 60+ days and initiate email communications for recollection and resolution
  • Respond to customer inquiries, address consignment account-related issues, and maintain positive relationships with consignment partners, keeping consignment log master workbook up to date and accurate
  • Collaborate with the team during monthly consignment audits, reviewing invoicing, identifying outstanding invoices, determining accounts requiring follow-up, and managing the returns database
  • Sign off on new account onboardings and consignment agreements on behalf of the company


Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in data management and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge of consignment or inventory management systems
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with teams and build positive relationships with consignment partners
  • Ability to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement with an analytical mindset
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment


 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in operations management, business administration, computer science or a related field (preferred)
