Distribution Technician I

Job Summary
Purpose
The role of the Distribution Technician is responsible for labeling, storage and distribution of manufactured HCT/P’s products. The Distribution Technician will also be responsible for the order selection process and customer service-related functions necessary to provide a great customer experience. The Distribution Tech will work closely with the Quality assurance team to ensure the timely release of products through the manufacturing life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally
- Assist with inventory control and transfer of products throughout all phases of distribution
- Inspect products and verify product counts prior to and upon receipt of sterilization shipments
- Label products according to daily production plan to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and packaged
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all steps in the order process to assure product documentation and traceability
- Maintain the inventory room, ensuring that shipping materials are properly stored and organized
- Check-in and store supplies required to stage, store and ship HCT/Ps
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven experience or familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance
- Physical requirements include standing for 8-10 hours and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Legible handwriting for documentation purposes
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required
