Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Partner is essential in building a highly skilled workforce, responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and onboarding top talent across diverse roles. This position demands a proactive, creative approach to talent acquisition, with a focus on both active and passive recruitment techniques, including social networking, to effectively engage and attract qualified candidates.
In addition, the Talent Acquisition Partner offers insights into market trends, provides recommendations for attracting and selecting talent, and ensures adherence to legal guidelines. This role also involves participation in projects designed to streamline recruitment processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the organization’s staffing needs are met with a strategic, long-term vision.
- Contribute to the improvement and execution of end-to-end hiring processes, focusing on enhancing the candidate experience.
- Meet key recruitment metrics to ensure effective and timely hiring outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to set clear expectations for candidate profiles and interview procedures.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define selection criteria and provide regular recruitment status updates.
- Source candidates through online channels, including LinkedIn and other professional networks, utilizing innovative outreach methods.
- Manage job postings on the company career site and external job boards.
- Craft job descriptions and interview questions in partnership with Human Resources to align with position requirements.
- Screen and assess candidates by evaluating resumes, portfolios, and references to compile a list of the best fits.
- Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Maintain detailed records of recruitment materials, including interview notes, to share with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct Talent Acquisition training sessions as needed.
- Support new hire orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures.
- Develop partnerships with staffing agencies to expand sourcing options and meet talent demands.
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms, talent platforms, and professional networks.
- Experienced in using LinkedIn, Indeed Smart Sourcing, and other proactive sourcing tools.
- Skilled in documenting processes and adapting to evolving industry trends.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and data-driven recruiting approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or similar field from an accredited college or university required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a talent acquisition and/or recruiting role required.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment, including various interviewing techniques and evaluation methods required.
- Demonstrated proactive and creative approach to talent acquisition, with experience in both active and passive recruitment techniques, including social networking, to engage and attract qualified candidates required.
- aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP equivalent highly preferred.
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required.
