Purpose
The Associate Distribution Technician is responsible for the labeling, storage, and distribution of manufactured HCT/P products. This role also involves order selection and customer service-related tasks to ensure excellent customer experience. The Associate Distribution Technician collaborates closely with the Quality Assurance team to facilitate the timely release of products throughout the manufacturing life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with inventory control and the transfer of products throughout all distribution phases.
- Acquire proficiency in all relevant software platforms and applications used within the role.
- Label products according to the daily production plan to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Assist in preparing outgoing shipments and ensure shipping containers are labeled accurately.
- Document all steps in the order process accurately for product traceability.
- Maintain an organized inventory room with properly stored shipping materials.
- Receive and store supplies needed for the distribution of HCT/Ps.
- Support general administrative tasks and other responsibilities as needed.
- Adhere to assigned shift schedules and ensure completion of duties within established timelines.
- Participate in training of relevant FDA, AATB, ISO, and internal policies to ensure compliance.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- General understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven experience or familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearance.
- Physical requirements include standing for 8-10 hours and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Legible handwriting for documentation purposes.
