Job Summary

Purpose

The Supply Chain Technician I will be responsible for driving the daily flow of work receiving and stocking critical and non-critical supplies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive daily flow of work for receiving and stocking supplies
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that supplies are distributed to the correct locations
  • Follow SOP’s in compliance with regulatory requirements for supply storage, handling, and tracking of supplies
  • Ability to cross train to assist in receiving donated tissues as needed
  • Starting your job duties on time, staying on the job throughout the assigned shift to complete duties properly and attending all scheduled meetings and appointments
  • Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
  • Experience in a warehouse, receiving and/or shipping environment preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft programs
  • Knowledge of tissue banking industry and regulatory requirements is a plus
  • Clearance of favorable background investigation required
