Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Purpose

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine repairs and maintenance of building equipment, machinery, and facility grounds of RegenTX facilities and other duties as required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain general building equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property
  • Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repairs activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, parking lot/sidewalk cleanup, clear drain stoppages, lighting
  • Perform custodial duties as needed which may include sweeping, gathering trash, empty trash receptacles, and landscaping
  • Assist with emergency setup and response in coordination with the management team
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment and tools
  • Assist in the setting up of events and install/take-down decorations
  • Move furniture or cubicles as needed to support office and equipment moves
  • Perform daily cleaning throughout the facility
  • Engage in training and continuing education to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to work safely
  • Records readings taken from gauges on machinery and equipment, and documents and records discrepancies of readings
  • Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings
  • Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • At least two years of experience in maintenance or related field required
  • Clearance of favorable background investigation required
